This hotel suits me perfectly with its free wi-fi, fitness center, and 24-hour reception. The staff were incredibly kind to my old parents during our first stay. I’ll be back for Christmas!

I really loved how easy it was to explore Point State Park and Grandview Overlook during my stay, both perfect for leisurely walks with amazing views of the city, making it a great base for any weekend traveler who enjoys sightseeing and relaxing in natural spaces. however, I wish the amenities in the hotel were more updated and better maintained.

Enjoyed exploring Pittsburgh's vibrant stadiums with my family and little dog. We caught an epic baseball game at PNC Park, which was super fun! The atmosphere was electric, and the food options around were fantastic, making it a memorable day for all of us.

My kids wished the hotel had a better playground area.

Great Location, Disappointing Amenities

The location is fantastic with plenty of parking. However, our stay was marred by broken amenities and limited breakfast options. The pool was still closed when we arrived for Memorial Day Weekend.

The dining scene at Plaza is a flavor explosion! Start with the sizzling wings and wrap up with the decadent chocolate cake—food dreams come true! Their bar area offers a chill vibe to sip local brews too. Oh, and don’t miss Vincent's of Greentree just down the road for authentic Italian spirit!

Now, the lounge area could use a touch more ambiance—think cozy, not so much bland. And while the menu was solid, a few more adventurous options would amp up the buzz.

The room was okay, but there was a weird smell that lingered. The bed dipped in the middle, so that wasn’t great for sleep. The A/C took forever to cool it down, and we had some electrical smoke issues during the night. Not to mention, we could hear the toilet running from the next room all night. Overall, the room needs some serious maintenance and cleaning.

The bathroom could use an update. the wallpaper was peeling, and the toilet seat felt cheap. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, but breakfast should have been included for the price. I did not have a chance to check out the pool since it was closed. Overall, my stay had bright spots with some clear areas for improvement.
