Pittsburgh Plaza Hotel - Crafton

Amazing hotel with its free wi-fi, fitness center, and 24-hour reception. The staff were kind to my old parents during our first stay. I'll be back for Christmas!

Breakfast was ok.

Under major renovations. No hot water both mornings and no water one day. Elevator broke down on day 2. Towels smell of burnt oil. I would stay away from this place for a least a year. Your going to hear of similar comments for sure.

It is being renovated. I feel hotels should close down and do the renovations so guests are not inconvenienced.

Price was reasonable.

I felt the room could have been cleaner. Saw lots of cobwebs and wires hanging out.

It was convenient to restaurants.

This hotel was totally under construction. amenities were limited.

No food services, inadequate staff

There were no other people booked in the rooms around us, so it was incredibly quiet.

The price could've been lower. Also, it was advertised as having balconies, but there was a sliding glass door with a railing immediately outside of it. No balcony.

I appreciated staying in this property and its absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location.

Regarding service, it was good with a shuttle to down town.

Would recommend for an overnight stopping

Clean room, accommodating staff, including the friendly front desk agent who assisted us with early check-in and the shuttle service, made our trip to the city easy and convenient.

Our GPS took us right to the hotel. Easily accessible.

The hotel was not worth the money. The bathroom had mildew in tub and on the walls, the room itself was not very clean and the continental breakfast was sub standard. The only thing that the hotel had going was the outdoor pool.

Enjoyed my time here with clean rooms and friendly staff. The shuttle service was a bit unreliable, which was frustrating, and the pool was too cold for a summer dip. It was still a decent choice close to the city.

The rooms are spotless and updated, with coffee and sound-proofed windows. The breakfast options are free with steamed food and many options to choose from, as example. They provide many type of service - superb bar, reliable wi-fi, shuttle to down town.

close to parks and fine city viewpoints for weekend strolls

I really loved how easy it was to explore Point State Park and Grandview Overlook , both perfect for leisurely walks with amazing views of the city. I wish the amenities in the hotel were more updated and better maintained.
